Writer, Director Jim Owens is not only a proven comedy talent who loves to work with character actors, but he’s also funny, easy going and good company. Breaking onto the scene with his short film “Can We Talk?” which won an Honourable Mention at Sundance Film Festival, Jim has gone from strength to strength with an impressive array of commercials that demonstrate his natural intuition and great range in the comedy genre. Outside of the commercials world, Jim has directed numerous TV comedies such as the BBC3 pilot “Hailmakers”, the BBC2 sketch shows “Sketchland” and “What’s Funny About The Indyref” for BBC Comedy in Scotland. Continually writing, in whatever spare time he has, Jim is currently developing a feature film and further TV projects.
